PRACTICING TAI CHI AT HOME
In between classes, why not do the warm-ups as a regular part of your day? They'll help you relax, and at the same time, work on your coordination and balance.
Or you could give just five minutes to some tai chi:
pick one move and do it slowly, mindfully, lovingly, over and over.
Practising "single whip"; Bugbee Senior Center, White River Junction, VT

Tai Chi for Health & Wellness--Class for continuing participants:
While we'll always review what we've already learned, we'll start a new form (of participants' choosing) too! Offered at both Bugbee Center and Thompson Center, same dates and cost as Beginners' class, but from 10:40-11:40.
If you can't attend your regular class, feel free to join at one of the other locations.
If local schools are closed due to weather conditions, we will NOT have our tai chi class. When in doubt, call me (802-457-2877 or cellphone 802-369-2515) or the location of your class. If class is canceled, we'll work out a way to provide a make-up session.
The tai chi forms Anne teaches were developed by Dr. Paul Lam, a tai chi master and family physician. Regular practice of tai chi increases one's balance and strength, improves outlook, and combats the fragmentation of modern life. Anne is certified to teach Tai Chi for Arthritis, and attends Dr. Lam's week-long tai chi workshop every summer to improve her practice and her teaching.
WHY DO PEOPLE STUDY TAI CHI?
"After our last class, when I got in my car, I realized I could turn my head to look behind me--I haven't been able to do that without pain for years!"
"I'm the kind of person who's always uptight, but this class really helps me relax."
"I do the warm-up exercises every morning; they're like coffee for me--they get me started."
"I feel safer. My balance is better; I walk more easily."
"Your tai chi classes are fun and I love the social interaction as much as the tai chi itself."
