Sometimes

the ordinary is just enough

to fill each moment completely

beyond now or then

full-furred stink of skunk

bubbles of seltzer filling the mouth

autumn tree shadows

on gold-green meadow

startling wild of coyotes' shrieks

resistance of dead corn plants,

so hard to pull,

practiced movements of tai chi

sometimes
