Tai Chi Teacher and sometimes writer
One third of people over the age of 65 will suffer a serious fall, and 16,000 people in the U.S. die from falls every year!
Our Tai Chi for Fall Prevention program uses the same movements as Tai Chi for Arthritis, emphasizing correct posture, awareness of weight shifts, and deep breathing. Strength, flexibility, and balance are all increased with regular practice of tai chi, and the short form we teach is easy to learn.

Life in our region challenges us with snow, ice, mud, but we want to remain mobile, social, and healthy. In clinical studies, tai chi has proven its ability to improve balance, reduce falls, give relief from the pain of arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other syndromes, improve sleep, and more! In our classes, we take a fun, relaxed approach, and each person works within his or her own comfort level.
